The ONLY way to see the Dalmatian Coast!

My words cannot do this trip justice- sailing on the Adriatic Holiday was one of the most extraordinary travel experiences of my life. There were 6 of us on our family trip and the staterooms were perfectly appointed for us. There are so many places on the boat to watch for sea life and feel the warm winds- you could find quiet places all over the boat to relax or join your group to be together for lively conversations and fun inside and out. The Adriatic Holiday is a gorgeous yacht, with beautiful teak decks and a perfect swim deck off the stern (we swam multiple times a day in the amazing, very buoyant Adriatic Sea, as well as SUPed and wakeboarded). Comfortable seating areas with couches and a bar were up top on the flybridge and the indoor salon with dining and seating areas were lovely. One night we had our own family dance party on the flybridge then moved to the stern for dinner where our fantastic crew set up the dining table. We had every meal on the aft deck, so the sun and breezes could remind us we were in the most beautiful place on earth. If you have not been gently rocked to sleep by the sea, then it is time. This crew was very special and took great care of us. Our Captain lead us to the most beautiful bays to anchor, swim, and fill our bellies with amazing food. We learned about how Croatia has 1200 islands, and although we could not see them all- our Captain lead us to the most gorgeous and fascinating ones. The layers of history, culture, wonderful Croatian people and the food made me want to stay forever. The crew was always ready to show us amazing things from the sea, and were ready for anything we needed. The meals and snacks that came out of the galley were so delicious- the freshest foods possible! The chance to eat so well and with such care was very special. Captain Ante always had perfect wines to pair with our meals and we got to taste wines from all the regions of Croatia. The Adriatic Holiday was the best way to experience Croatia and I cannot wait to return one day. We were all sad to leave our new friends but now our family gets to share stories, memories and daydream about our life at sea on the Adriatic Holiday.
